Preparing samples for activity determination of α-sources with aerosol filters

Method used for the fabrication of thinlayer specimens for relative measurements of activity and alpha emitter composition on membrane aerosol filters, smears and other samples taken on the FP type material is suggested. The thin-layer specimens are also fabricated to determine a mean value of the alpha particle absorption coefficient in the FP material. The specimens may be fabricated for relative measurements of the activity of transuranium elements, their compounds and other alpha emitters which sublimation temperature is over 600 deg C
