Sport injuries of the knee in young people

Description
The biggest number of injuries of the knee are in highly result interested sportsmen. The portion of girls has reached 30%. More than 50% of all injuries regard the ligaments and the menisci. Especially in these cases and in combined lesions gives the arthrography good results. All possibilities of investigations should be used for acute injured sportsmen, because of the specific readiness of risks and the dissimulation of young sportspeople and because of the danger of too late established diagnosis and within those of late damages. Abstract (German)
Die groesste Zahl sporttraumatischer Knieverletzungen kommt aus Leistungsgruppen. Der Anteil der Maedchen an den Verletzten hat 30% erreicht. Mehr als die Haelfte aller Verletzungen bestanden in einer solchen des Bandapparates und der Menisci. Gerade bei diesen und den entsprechenden Kombinationslaesionen bewaehrt sich die Arthrographie. Saemtliche Untersuchugnsmoeglichkeiten muessen beim akut Verletzten eingesetzt werden, da bei Jugendlichen wegen ihrer besonderen Risikobereitschaft und dem Hang zum Dissimulieren die Gefahr der zu spaet gestellten Diagnose und damit jene von Spaetschaeden besonders gross ist.
