Agreement between the Republic of Cape Verde and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the Application of Safeguards in Connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons

1. The text of the Agreement (and the Protocol thereto) between the Republic of Cape Verde and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the Application of Safeguards in Connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons is reproduced in this document for the information of all Members. The Board of Governors approved the Agreement on 16 June 2005. It was signed on 28 June 2005 in Vienna, Austria. 2. Pursuant to Article 24 of the Agreement, the Agreement entered into force on 7 September 2022, the date upon which the Agency received from Cape Verde written notification that Cape Verde's statutory and constitutional requirements for entry into force had been met. Pursuant to Article II of the Protocol, the Protocol entered into force on the same date.
