Description
Based on the method of equivalent photons, the incoherent bremsstrahlung probability for electron challenging radiation is obtained as a function of impact parameter. It is shown that incoherent bremsstrahlung is caused by the fluctuation of atomic potential due to thermal vibrations. The numerical value of our result for 511 MeV electrons in Si<110> is considerably smaller than those of other theories. (author)
