Application of thermal plasma in radioactive wastes treatment
Description
Two variants of the application of the thermal plasma for immobilization of activated wastes are presented. The first direction is the incineration of wastes in shaft furnace with using of plasma torch and the second one is the treatment of the dispersed glass-forming charge for vitrification of radioactive wastes in the plasma stream in the channel of the electric arc reactor.
