Description
The design and performance of UHF thin film RF SQUID system employing a cryogenic RF preamplifier is described. The flux noise of the magnetometer is 7x10-6Φ0/√Hz at 4.2 K and 4.8x10-6Φ0/√Hz at 1.4 K. The temperature dependence of the fractional step rise α was measured showing a good agreement with the Kurkijaervi-Webb theory. (orig.)
