Special techniques with radioactive nuclear beams
Description
In first experiments using radioactive nuclear beams (RNB's) of < 1 MeV/u valuable experience has been gained. Some of the techniques that were employed in the production and diagnosis of RNB's and in the detection and analysis of reaction products are presented and discussed. Different techniques are analysed in terms of advantages and disadvantages. Further development in the field is reviewed. (Author)
