Protocol Additional to the Agreement between the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the Application of Safeguards in Connection with the Treaty on the Non Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons

1. The text of the Protocol Additional to the Agreement1 between the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe and the International Atomic Energy Agency for the Application of Safeguards in Connection with the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons is reproduced in this document for the information of all Members. The Board of Governors approved the Additional Protocol on 21 November 2019. It was signed on 24 January 2023 in Sao Tome and on 31 March 2023 in Vienna. 2. Pursuant to Article 17 of the Additional Protocol, the Protocol entered into force on 31 March 2023, upon signature by the representatives of Sao Tome and Principe and the Agency.
