Description
Spin properties of Skyrme-type interactions are discussed in comparison with the renormalized G-matrix. Using the modified Skyrme interaction SGII, spin-dependent excitations are studied in the framework of RPA model taking into account the isobar-hole couplings. Combined effects of RPA correlations and Δ-h coupling give about 35% reductions of Gamow-Teller and M1 transition strengths. The quenching of spin-dipole (σrY1) excitations is shown to be less than that of the σ-tau modes. (author)
