Application microbiological preparation EM-1 and mineral sorbent for growing plants on the soils contaminated by radionuclides

  • 1. Inst. of radiobiology, Gomel' (Belarus)

Description

It was stated, that when the soil is enriched with Trepel mineral sorbate and the soil and the plants were treated with microbiological preparation, all this stimulates 137Cs transfer decrease in the plants. As for 90Sr, it should be noted that this radionuclide specific activity has almost the same indexes that 137Cs specific activity. The highest biological consumption coefficient indexes of Cd, Pb and Sr were detected in the plants of the controlled variant of this experiment. (authors)
