The estimation of solubilities in hydrothermal systems
Description
Composition and properties of the hydrothermal solutions for the system La2O3-SiO2-B2O3-H2O at t=300 deg C Psub(tot)=1000 at and ratio of water mass to the total mass of other components equal to 79.5 were studied. Graphical method for estimating component concentrations in the solutions which are equilibrated with various solid phases. For this the system-solid phase composition diagrams were used. Good agreement between the computed and measured concentrations B2O3 enables to determine composition of the equilibrium solutions in any system with one insoluble component at least
