Gluon polarization in quark-gluon elastic scattering

Description

We present the result for the linear polarization of a gluon in quark-gluon elastic scattering at the one-loop level in perturbative quantum chromodynamics. This polarization, which is on the order of 10%, shows considerable variation with the scattering angle and can be used in principle to distinguish gluon jets from quark jets
