Sources of polarizing magnetic field and gradients for NMR tomography
Description
The problems of nonsuperconducting magnets and gradient coils for nuclear magnetic resonances tomographs are discussed. The requirements to a polarizing magnetic field and its gradients in NMR tomography are formulated. The methods of calculating the sources for a homogeneous field and a field with a homogeneous gradient are discussed. Known gradients and gradient coils are compared
