Description

The technical information system 'UVP - Information and Consulting Network (UVP-IBN)' ist equipped with a wide spectrum of technical knowledge for the environmental compliance test. In this sense, UVP-IBN is not to be understood as an expert system characterized by an interactive dialog between user and system and an interference mechanism, but as a computer-assisted guide through the comprehensive UVP technical knowledge, steadily growing in complexity. UVP-IBN is designed with a modular appraoch. It consists of individual main components or modules divided into several submodules. The modular design permits the revision or extension of individual modules in a simple and quick manner as well as the insertion of new modules. (orig./DG)

Das Fachinformationssystem 'UVP-Informations- und Beraternetz' (UVP-IBN) ist mit einem breiten Spektrum von Fachwissen zur Umweltvertraeglichkeitspruefung ausgestattet. Dabei versteht sich UVP-IBN nicht als Expertensystem, das durch einen interaktiven Dialog zwischen Benutzer und System und einen Interferenzmechanismus gekennzeichnet ist, sondern als computergestuetzter Leitfaden durch das immer umfangreicher werdende UVP-Fachwissen. UVP-IBN ist modular aufgebaut. Es besteht aus einzelnen Hauptbausteinen oder Modulen, die sich in jeweils mehrere Teilmodule aufgliedern. Der modulare Aufbau erlaubt auf einfache und schnelle Weise sowohl die Ueberarbeitung bzw. Ergaenzung einzelner als auch das Hinzufuegen neuer Module. (orig./DG)
