Highlights: • Measured emissivity of reactor alloys after exposure to advanced reactor conditions. • Environments include helium gas, molten salt, liquid sodium, and supercritical CO2. • Large increases in emissivity observed for alloys exposed to oxidizing environments. • Minor changes to emissivity were observed in non-oxidizing environments.
