Description
Over the last decades, myocardial perfusion SPECT has become central in the management of patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease. Ecg-Gating, which allows non only the calculation of left ventricular ejection fraction and ventricular volumes but the analysis of regional wall motion, has become a routine part of clinical protocols. Through several examples, we illustrate the usefulness of this imaging modality and present technical pitfalls. (authors)
