On the hydrogen atom position in zirconium hydride

Description
Investigations and a combined analysis of the data on elastic and inelastic neutron scattering for zirconium hydride and deuteride in equilibrium prepared by self-propagating high-temperature synthesis are carried out. It is found that a number of hydrogen atoms are in octapores, while in earlier studied equilibrium zirconium hydrides hydrogen fills only tetrahedral interstices
