La214 phase single crystal whiskers

Description
We have successfully grown the La2-xSrxCuO4+δ (La214) single crystal whiskers using the Te-doped method, which is a simple and efficient method for growth of high quality whiskers. The whiskers have a length of about 1 mm and have clear crystal azimuths. The X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern showed that the whiskers were in the La214 phase and no peaks corresponding to other phases were observed. The superconducting properties temperatures observed at Tc = 34 K by transport measurements.
