Relative sensitivity coefficients in spark source mass spectrometry (SSMS) of metals
Description
Relative Sensitivity Coefficients (RSC) in aluminium, copper and iron using SSMS were determined with deep cooled electrodes. A straight line dependence was observed between log RSC and the boiling points of the impurities. The experimental results clearly indicate the importance of the relative heat of sublimation of the impurities. (author)
