Alpha spectra of sup(210,208,2O6,204)At and sup(212)Fr

Description

The study of α-spectra of odd-odd sup(210, 208, 206, 204)At and 212Fr isotopes at a large magnetic α-spetrograph with monoisotope preparations of the above nuclides is carried out. At and Fr have been produced during the deep splitting reaction in the course of metal Th or U targets irradiation by protons with the energy epsilonsub(p)=660 MeV. The irradiation duration has been varied from 20 min. to 3 hrs. depending on the half-life period of the studied nuclide. A number of new transitions has been found and energy and intensity for the previously known α- transitions have been specified. The α-decay fractions are deter- mined. For 210At it constitutes 0.18+-0.02%, for 206At- 0.70+-0.14%, for 204At-3+-1%
