Anisotropy of creep characteristics and texture of thin-walled fuel cans of steel type Kh16N15M3T
Description
Cold worked tubular fuel cans of the steel type Kh16N15M3T were studied for their structure, texture and its distribution with wall thickness, short-term strength and creep resistance using methods of x-ray diffraction analysis, microscopy and mechanic testing. Fiber texture <111> and <100> was observed along the axis of cans. In radial plane the <011> crystallographic orientation was revealed. The plane tangent to a tube surface was characterized by texture directions of <011> and <112>> Refs. 8, figs. 6
