Description
In the past years a good progress was made in understanding the properties of hot and dense nuclear matter created in high energy nucleus-nucleus collisions. In this talk we summarize the experimental highlights from the PHENIX experiment at RHIC from the point of view of understanding the properties of partonic matter produced at RHIC
