Experimental study on the behaviour of plasma excited by double glow discharge with a pair of cathodes

Description

The principle of particle diffusion into metallic workpieces by parallel double glow discharge is introduced. Experimental study of the plasma character on discharge condition has been made. The study shows that enhanced discharge can be excited for the double glow discharge of the pair of cathodes on certain conditions. Feature and foundation of the enhanced discharge are discussed
