Tube bundle assembly for a heat exchanger

Description

An improved type of tube bundle assembly for a heat exchanger is described which can be used as a reheater section of a vapour generator in a gas-cooled nuclear reactor. The assembly has a compact annular configuration while providing effective heat exchange capabilities, maintains minimum gas flow resistance and allows for differential expansion without the use of unheated cross-over connections.
