Nuclear photon scattering
Creators
Description
Nuclear photon scattering consists of coherent and incoherent components. Here the connection between the coherent scattering amplitude and the total photonuclear absorption cross section is emphasized and the influence of form factors and interfering multipoles is discussed. Incoherent scattering is described and the problems that it introduces are pointed out. (Author)
