Description
The present work is carried out as a part of pre-operational environmental surveillance around proposed uranium mining area at Banduhurang. Concentration of radionuclides in soil and plants (terrestrial and aquatic plants) of the adjoining area was analysed and the concentration ratio was evaluated. Elevated CRs were found in plant organs of Hydrographis peniculata, Cyperus rotundus and Nymphea spp. (author)
