Electron bremsstrahlung recovery in ATLAS

  • 1. Lancaster University (United Kingdom)

Description

A number of approaches are being used in ATLAS reconstruction software, aiming to improve electron momentum measurement by taking into account the effects due to bremsstrahlung at various stages. This talk covers some of them, with a special emphasis on the original method of Dynamic Noise Adjustment during the track fitting using the Kalman filter, designed and implemented in ATLAS
