Technetium-99m-ethylenediamine: a new cationic complex of technetium
Description
Reaction of sup(99m)Tc-pertechnetate with 1,2-diaminoethane (ethylenediamine) in the presence of Sn(II) appears to give a single cationic species. At pH 9-10 the complex is stable for greater than 20 h and for greater than 1 h at pH 4-11. Biodistribution studies show that the complex is partially bound to serum protein and the main blood clearance is via renal accumulation and excretion. (author)
