Painting material to be hardened by ionizing radiation on the basis of siloxane-ester-acrylate and of unsaturated monomers and procedure for its application

A painting material hardening under ionizing radiation is decribed which consists of siloxane ester acrylate and unsaturated monomers and is particularly suitable as a coating for materials of different types. The resins are produced in 3 steps: 1) Reaction of a siloxane (with 2 or more functional hydroxyl or alkoxy groups per molecule) with a C2-C21 diol, 2) reaction of the reaction product of (1) with a C4-C36 dicarbonic acid or an anhydride of this acid, 3) reaction of the product of (2) with a glycidyl acrylate, glycidyl methacrylate, or a C5C12 monohydroxy acrylate (ester of a C2C8 diol of acrylic or methacrylic acid). 19 examples are given for variants of the component ratio.
