Description

The paper presents the results of experiments on brazing Al2O3 oxide ceramics to FeNi42 alloys using newly developed composite fillers: AgCuTi alloy/carbon fibres. The fillers used in the experiment differed from one another in the chemical composition of the matrix and in the way in which the carbon fibres were distributed within them. The matrix of composite fillers was either the active AgCuInTi filler labelled as CB1 in the form of a 0.1 mm thick foil or a filler in the form of paste based on the (AgCu21Ni2)Ti3 alloy. Strength and structural examination of joints have been investigated in the dependence on filler composition
