Neutrinoless double-beta decay of the kaon in a relativistic quark model

Description
The rate of the decay K+→μ+μ+π- is computed in a relativistic quark model for the mesons. This double-beta decay is assumed to be induced by a light Majorana neutrino mass m/sub ν/. The rate for this mode is 7 x 10-19 sec-1, for m/sub ν/approx.1 keV
