Some possibilities and technological problems of the utilization of neutron generators in nuclear physics are discussed, such as the limitations in receiving high yields of fast neutrons, the unstability of the produced neutron yield, the spectrum of the obtained neutrons from special types of neutron generators and the basic features of the pulse fast neutron production.
