Role of X-ray examination methods in the diagnosis of endophytic stomach carcinomas

Description

Results of studying potentialities of radiographic methods in the diagnosis of stomach endophytic neoplasms (130 cases) are presented. All of patients were exposed to complex radiographic-endoscopic studies of stomach. X-ray computerized tomography is used as an additional method. It is shown that the complex approach to the diagnosis of endophytic neoplasms of stomach is necessary. Radiographic method is proposed to be used as an initial examination method. Endoscopic method with multiple biopsy is also used. X-ray computerized tomography is used for certain anatomic stomach section at the final stage

Abstract (Russian)

Представлены результаты изученния возможностей рентгенологических методов исследования в диагностике эндофитных опухолей желудка (130 случаев). У всех больных проводилось комплексное рентгено-эндоскопическое исследование желудка. В качестве дополнительного метода исследования использовалась рентгеновская компьютерная томография. Показано, что необходим комплексный подход к диагностике эндофитных опухолей желудка. В качестве первичного обследования предлагается использовать рентгенологический метод, эндоскопическое исследование с множественной биопсией и на завершающем этапе рентгеновская компьютерная томография на определенный анатомический отдел желудка
