Study on the intensity of priming from a liquid film surface in upward flow of steam-water mixture

  • 1. Vsesoyuznyj Zaochnyj Politekhnicheskij Inst., Moscow (USSR)

Description

Presented are results of experimental investigation of the intensity of priming from a liquid near-wall film surface in cocurrent upward flow of steam-water mixture under adiabatic conditions in a vertical round tube with internal diameter of 13.3 mm in the pressure range from 1 to 12 MPa, specific mass consumption of the mixture of 400-2000 kg/(m2xs) and mass consumed steam content of 0.2-0.9. In the studied range of the change of regime parameters the priming intensity depends lenearly on the density of irragation and steam rate; the dependence on pressure at fixed rate and density of irragation has a flat minimum at p=6-7 MPa
