Die hier wiedergegebenen 21 Arbeiten gehoeren zum Themenkreis ''Numerische Behandlung von Tragsystemen'', dem Hauptarbeitsgebiet des durch diese Festschrift geehrten Wissenschaftlers. Insbesondere wird auch auf das von ihm entwickelte Programmsystem MESY eingegangen, ein geschlossenes Konzept zur Untersuchung mechanischer Systeme auf der Grundlage der analytischen Mechanik mit modularem Programmaufbau. Haeufige Anwendungsgebiete sind dynamische Analysen, wie sie in der Reaktortechnik und in aehnlichen Bereichen gefordert werden. (RW)
