The software design of nuclear fuel rod gap inspecting equipment based on windows

Description
It introduces a software design of nuclear fuel pellet gaps and spring cavum nondestructive test equipment based on Windows platform. It used multithread technique to control Advantech PCI-1780 counter/timer card, and collect γ-ray signal from front detector. Process and analyze the collected data can exactly check the width and position of inter-pallets gap and the length of spring cavum. The software can measure the pellet gaps and the cavity length of spring accurately, and send customizing messages to PLC which complete automatic sorting, at 8 m/min detection speed. Now the software system is used on nondestructive test equipment in Nuclear Fuel Element Factory. (authors)
