A high-temperature X-ray diffraction study of state diagram of LiVO3-NaVO3 system
- 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ., Moscow (USSR)
Description
The method of high-temperature X-ray diffraction is used to study the state diagram of LiVO3-NaVO3 system using the results of studies of thermal and chemical deformation of crystal phase lattice present in the samples and specification of their structures at different temperatures. According to the data of X-ray diffraction the samples after synthesis are solid solutions. The existence of two types of ordered solid solutions-(Na, Li)LiV2O6 in the lithium part and Na(Na, Li)V2O6 in the sodium part-is found between the equimolar state and the edge members of the system. The binodal curve of solid solution decomposition in a sample after thermal treatment at 200 deg C is presented. Solid solution melting occurs with the minimum at 38 mol % NaVO3 and 568±7 deg C
