Formation heat of samarium dichloride

Description
EMF of solid-state phase of galvanic elements is measured. Experimental data are processed using technique based on the 3-rd thermodynamics law in combination with published values of thermodynamic characteristics of members of EMF-forming reactions. Value of formation heat of SmCl2 (-798.4±2.8 kJ·mole-1) is obtained
