Description

In this paper, a reconfigurable system for college nuclear physics experiments was introduced. The reconfigurable hardware platform was constructed in which FPGA was used as the control core. USB 2.0 high-speed bus was used to communicate with computer. The control software was designed based on virtual instrument technology. Using reconfigurable technology, the system could support variety of experiments. Experimental results showed that the system could satisfy the requirements of college nuclear physics experiments, which meant that it could completely replace the original equipments. (authors)
