Quantum dissipative system and the Caldirola-Montaldi equation
- 1. Patras Univ. (Greece). Dept. of Theoretical Physics
Description
In this paper the problem of quantum friction is examined by virtue of the new Caldirola-Montaldi equation. The solutions of this equation are expressed through the Schroedinger propagator. In addition, the case of free electrons under external friction is studied in detail. (author)
