Process for iron separation from an organic solution containing uranium

Description

Iron is separated from an organic solution of U and Fe in a phosphine oxide and an acid organic phosphorus compound by reaction on oxalic acid or a mixture of sulfuric and phosphoric acid or phosphoric acid. Uranium stays in the initial organic solution and iron is transferred to the aqueous phase

Le procede de separation du fer a partir d'un solution organique uranifere dans un oxyde neutre de phosphine et un compose organophosphore acide, comprend la reaction avec un acide choisi parmi l'acide oxalique, un melange d'acide phosphorique et sulfurique ou l'acide phosphorique deferrise, l'uranium restant dans la solution organique initiale et le fer passant en solution aqueuse
