Correlation between tensile and creep data in alloy 800H at 850 C
Description
Reasonable agreement was obtained between tensile data (saturation stress and applied strain rate) and creep data (applied stress and steady state creep rate) at 850 C for alloy 800H. Norton's law is applicable for tensile and creep data giving the same stress exponent. Moreover, the creep curves predicted from the tensile data by using the modified one parameter model (Kocks, Mecking and Estrin's model) were fairly consistent with the experimental ones at 850 C.
