Analysis of the transient process of diffusion-natural-convection in case of hot gas duct rupture accident of HTR-10
Description
Hot gas duct rupture accident is the hypothetical accident of 10 MW High Temperature gas cooled test Reactor (HTR-10), in order to analyze the transient process of diffusion-natural-convection of this accident, a one dimensional diffusion-natural-convection model is proposed. This model is successfully testified by the experiment of diffusion-natural-convection in the reverse U pipe performed by Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute (JAERI). Applying this model analyzed the process of diffusion-natural-convection in case of hot gas duct rupture accident of HTR-10, it is shown that a steady natural convection is setup after 40000 second delay, its mass flow rate is 0.04 kg/s
