PC based instrumentation for nuclear counting labs
Description
PC based instrumentation is becoming increasingly popular because of continued reduction in PC prices. Additionally PC based designs grant advantages like greater flexibility, programmability, cost effectiveness, minimum human intervention, reduction in hardware and improved reliability etc., for the end product. Efforts to achieve the goal of automation in radiation counting in laboratories are described. (author)
