Interplanetary medium perturbations during Forbush decreases

Description
The characteristic parameters of the interplanetary perturbations associated with Forbush decreases are studied. When the earth is encountered by the radially advancing front of the perturbation an excellent correlation (correlation coefficient 0.96) between the Forbush decrease amplitude and an empiric parameter of the perturbation is found
