Specific heat of α-(Ce1-xLax)3Al

Description
The specific heat measurements have been performed for α-(Ce1-xLax)3Al in a wide temperature range from 1.2 to 300 K. A structural and magnetic phase diagram was determined from the specific heat. Analysis is extended for the phonon part assuming the Debye model as well as for the magnetic part in terms of Kondo effect and crystal field effect. (orig.)
