Relations between terrestrial heat flow and uranium deposits in Jiangxi Province
Creators
- 1. East China Geological Inst., Fuzhou, JX (China)
Description
Based on tectonic features, distributing of uranium deposits and terrestrial beat flow data, this the authors reveal that heat flow anomaly and uranium mineralization are controlled by deep-seated faults and deep-seated structural transitional zones. To some extent, uranium mineralization can cause heat flow anomalies. Possibilities of prospecting for uranium by heat flow measurement method is preliminarily discussed
