Dependence of Auger electron energy from the way of atom excitation
Description
Measurements of group KLL Auger-electron spectra of Eu emitted under 153 Sm → 153Eu and 153Cd → 153Eu decay are conducted using a high resolution magnetic β-spectrometer. The observed Auger-line energy shifts are numerically equal to the shifts of deep atom shell binding energy. Convincing confirmation of the existence of the effect of Auger-electron energy dependence on the way of atom excitation is obtained
