Fine structure of ion distribution function behind the shock wave front
Description
Fine structure of ion distribution function behind the front of near-the Earth shock wave is investigated. Evidences of nonstationary passing of solar wind ion flux through strong quasiperiodic shock wave front are presented. It is shown that under the effect of electrostatic field jump at the front the ion beam is extended within the velocity space in the direction perpendicular to the front
