Description
Full text: Experimental measurements of attenuation coefficients of photon radiation in the energy range of 0.511 -1.33 MeV for nine elements through aqueous solutions of their compounds, have been measured. The elements selected are Boron, Calcium, Vanadium, Selenium, Molybdenum, Cadmium, Rhodium, Indium and Tungsten form their compounds boric acid, calcium chloride, ammonium metavanadium, selenium dioxide, ammonium molybdenum, cadmium acetate, rhodanin-N, indium(III) nitrate, sodium tungstate respectively. The values of attenuation coefficients thus obtained are presented in the form of tables along with theoretical values for comparison
